Agro Mafia
Like Bhu Mafia we have in India Agro Mafia too who in the name of their benevolence black mail the party in power. Presently BJP is in power therefore the Congress is showing it self to be benevolent of the agriculturists. About 100 persons had demonstration in Bhopal and perhaps no one was agriculturist. In addition the media whose routine attitude is of negative approach is making hue and cry of the frost hit agriculturists (agrists).every death in their families is described to be suicide due to frost hit crops. Because of hue and cry the state govt. has sanctioned Rs.500 crores. In fact no noticeable crop was damaged. A leaf of a very little quantity of crops fell yellow but no crop as such was damaged. On the contrary huge amount of growth of crop is expected. Illy, (like caterpillar) Pala,(frost) Ola,(hails) excess or too less rain are boon for the executive officers who distribute subsidy and for those agrists who make false and inflated claims. In fact they enjoy such money. Kisan Sangh a BJP off shoot has said that the politicians should not make capital out of the suicide of agrists.In fact last time it had no reason to make agitation at Bhopal which proved to be fiasco. The government was led away by the news items and not only huge subsidy was granted but loans were waived and Land revenue was also postponed. This is all black mailing of the government and the government in the name of vote bank does not spare any thing to lose vote bank. Government should make a distinction between marginal agrists and other agrists having big holdings. Now a day every sect of society is busy in snatching money in the name of subsidy, grant or aid from the govt. for this or that reason. The general public and in particular middle class is adversely affected by vote bank activities. The culture and character of the agrists is to waste money on religious, matrimonial funeral functions, drinking alcohol and fighting civil, criminal and revenue cases on flimsy and baseless grounds. Present day agrist is quite wise intelligent, shroud and arrogant also. He is more cunning than urban people. Things should not be taken at par or as they appear in newspapers or on news channels of TV.
